
Mr. Kevin Elinski has been teaching at Wickenburg High School for the last two years. Before moving to Wickenburg, he lived in Germantown, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee. Mr. Elinski spent over 20 years in private industry working for companies such as Briggs and Stratton and Rexnord. At those companies, he held positions in engineering, sales, marketing, and management.
Mr. Elinski received his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1987. In 1995, he received his Masters in Business Administration from Marquette. Finally, in 2006, he completed his teacher certification classes at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. He needs to complete two classes to receive a Masters in Education. He is certified to teach engineering, construction, math and business classes.
Mr. Elinski currently teaches construction and engineering classes. The construction classes focus on introducing students to a variety of careers in construction. Using hands on activities, the classes teach the basic skills needed for a construction career. Engineering classes focus on developing the problem solving methodology of the Engineering Design Process. Students learn facets of many different engineering fields to help guide them to the career that best suits their interest. In all classes, students are trained to utilize the latest technology available in the profession.
