
Mrs. Rogers-Thomason grew up in southern Oregon and attended Oregon State University where she majored in Business Administration and minored in Psychology earning a degree in 1996. During her last year at OSU, Mrs. Rogers-Thomason learned of her passion for teaching and decided to continue her education for teaching at Western Baptist College (1997). Mrs. Rogers-Thomason then began to teach on the southern Oregon coast at Brookings-Harbor High School (1998 - 2002). While teaching there, Mrs. Rogers-Thomason earned her Masters in Education (emphasis - business education) and her Vocational/Technical license (2001). She also began coaching there coaching the girls freshman volleyball team for four years.
In need for a change, Mrs. Rogers-Thomason moved to Arizona to teach here at WHS. She has been with us teaching since 2002. Mrs. Rogers-Thomason teaches Career and Technology Foundations, E-Commerce w/HTML, E-Commerce w/Dreamweaver, and an Independent study (Web Masters) for advanced students. Mrs. Rogers-Thomason also spent four years coaching here at WHS three years as the freshman volleyball coach (2002-2004) and one as the JV volleyball coach (2005) as well as three years as the JV girl’s basketball coach (2002-2005).
