Ms. Walters

Mrs. Brooke Walters has been teaching for 16 years at Wickenburg High School. She earned her degree from the University of Arizona. Her major is in Family studies with a minor in Spanish and Bilingual Ed. She started out her teaching career in 1993 at the “old” high school. Over the years she has taught subjects such as Spanish, ESL, Clothing & Textiles, Human Relations Service Learning, and Foods. After moving to the new high school her focus has been mainly on the Culinary Arts Program.

The “Saguaro Blossom” Restaurant

During the Culinary Art’s program the students will have the opportunity to take part in the operation of the Saguaro Blossom Restaurant. The Saguaro Blossom is the Wickenburg High School student-run restaurant located on the main campus of Wickenburg High School. This is a student run restaurant that serves the public in a fine dining setting during the second semester of their advanced culinary class.
