Coaches Bio

Doug Clementz has been teaching at Wickenburg High School since 1985 and coaching Cross Country since 1986. Running since 1973 Coach Clementz ran Cross Country at Constantine (Michigan) High School and his first two years of College at Southwestern Michigan College. Coach Clementz set seven school and class records at Constantine, and has run 3 marathons, which include the 1996 and 1997 Boston Marathons. Coach Clementz’s Wrangler Cross Country teams have won numerous Regional Championships and 5 Individual Regional Championships. Coach Clementz recently was inducted into the Constantine High School Sports Hall of Fame, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University.
