WHS also has important meetings scheduled to help students with college, financial aid, scholarships, etc. Here are some dates to remember
Parent University 101
August 19
th and 20
th from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. in the Media Center. This night will focus specifically on the new requirements put in place this year for Freshman and will be tailored to parents of Freshman.
Parent University 102
August 27
th from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. in the Media Center. This night will be tailored to parents of sophmore, juniors, and seniors.
Scholarship Night
September 17
th from 6:00 P.M. in the Media Center. we will be going over local, state, and national scholarship information.
Financial Aid Night
January 21
st at 6:00 P.M. This is a night designed for senior parents. We will walk you through the Federal Aid Process and fill out the FAFSA forms. There will be a representative from the colleges there to answer questions about grants and loans.
Career Fair
March 11
th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. This is a day where students can talk to employers and representatives from colleges, universities, and trade schools.
Mock Interviews
April 3
rd during tutoring time (9:00 A.M. - 9:30 A.M.) Students interested in signing up to be interviewed should see their counselor. These are just practice interviews conducted by local volunteer business people to help provide feedback to students who will be interviewing for jobs.
What To Expect When You Are Expecting A Freshman

th at 6:00 P.M. at WHS and May 13
th at Nadaburg Elementary at 6:00 P.M. This is a night designed for parents of our incoming freshmen. We will be answering questions and going over what a typical year as a freshmen might look like for their child.
